Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes, for personal use. You get unlimited desks, the full office suite, the Plexii assistant on your own Anthropic key, meetings, mail and chat, and sync across up to three devices.
Do I need an Anthropic API key?
On Free, Plexii runs on your own Anthropic key, so prompts go straight from your machine to Anthropic and you pay them directly. On Pro and Team, managed Plexii works with no key to set up.
Where is my work stored?
On your machine first. Cloud sync is opt-in and encrypted in transit, though not end-to-end encrypted. Data for features you choose to use, such as sharing, live collaboration, chat and mail, is stored on our servers so those features can work.
Which computers does it run on?
Macs with Apple Silicon or Intel on macOS 11 or later, using one universal installer. Windows 10 or 11 PCs with Intel or AMD processors. Windows 11 on Arm PCs run the standard Windows installer through built-in emulation; a native Arm build is on the way. Linux is coming too.
