Business expansion plan desk: the numbers, the sites and the next steps
the case for expanding made from your own sales Table and Chart, candidate sites on a map, fit-out costs in a sheet and the people you need (landlord, bank, accountant) — so the plan and the evidence travel together to the bank meeting. Distinct from monthly-investor-update (start-up metrics for investors).
What goes on the desk
- Document ‘Expansion plan’ (widget document)
- Table ‘Monthly sales’ (Month, Weekday sales, Weekend sales as numbers) (widget table)
- Chart ‘Weekend sales by month’ (widget chart)
- a Map per candidate site (widget map)
- Spreadsheet ‘Fit-out costs’ (widget spreadsheet)
- Contacts (widget contacts)
- Tasks (lease review, quotes, bank) (widget tasks).
Set it up
import sales from your till or accounting export as CSV (widget table import).
- Create a desk named for the real outcome, client or deadline.
- Add the suggested widgets and rename each one for the job it performs.
- Bring in the existing files or tables before inventing another copy of the information.
- Set a due date, add the first visible next action, then save the arrangement as a template if you will repeat it.

Use it day to day
one task a day toward the decision.
A useful desk should reduce copying. Keep each changing fact in one widget, and let charts, summaries or views read from that source.
A worked starting point
Fictional example. Create the desk, add three real items that are already in motion, then use one full work cycle before changing the layout. At the end, remove anything you did not consult and add only the object that would have prevented a real interruption.
Where Plexii helps
Plexii answers questions from the plan and the figures with sources (ai assistant); the Document’s Draft with AI writes a section you review before inserting (widget document).
Keep in mind. no financial advice; example figures fictional.
