Content calendar desk: plan, draft and track every post from one table

one Table is the calendar — the same rows seen as a month Calendar, as Kanban lanes by status and as a grid — with the campaign brief beside it, so the plan and the copy never drift apart. Distinct from video-script (one video) and the marketing-teams campaign page.

Suggested widgets: table · chart · page · gallery · task list · webview

What goes on the desk

  • Table ‘Posts’ (Post (short text), Publish date (date), Channel (single select), Status (single select: Idea, Drafting, Scheduled, Live), Owner, Asset link)
  • Chart ‘Posts by channel’ from the table
  • Page ‘Campaign brief’ (goal, audience, key message, dates)
  • Gallery of approved images
  • Tasks for open items
  • Browser widget on your scheduling or analytics tool.

Set it up

add the Table and its columns (widget table columns); switch views — Calendar needs the Date column, Kanban the Single select (table views); import an existing sheet as CSV or Excel (widget table import); add a Chart from the table (widget chart), a Page (widget page), a Gallery (widget gallery) and a Browser (widget browser).

  1. Create a desk named for the real outcome, client or deadline.
  2. Add the suggested widgets and rename each one for the job it performs.
  3. Bring in the existing files or tables before inventing another copy of the information.
  4. Set a due date, add the first visible next action, then save the arrangement as a template if you will repeat it.

Use it day to day

on Monday move cards across the Kanban lanes; drafts live in the Page; filter the table to this week (widget table filter group).

A useful desk should reduce copying. Keep each changing fact in one widget, and let charts, summaries or views read from that source.

A worked starting point

Fictional example. Create the desk, add three real items that are already in motion, then use one full work cycle before changing the layout. At the end, remove anything you did not consult and add only the object that would have prevented a real interruption.

Where Plexii helps

Build a table with AI proposes columns and drafts rows you review before any are added (widget table ai); the Page’s AI draft writes sections you approve (widget page); AI Assist rewrites or retones text in a table cell or the Page (widget ai assist).
