Recruitment desk: one role from brief to offer
an interview scorecard designed once as a Custom block form and filled in the same way for every candidate, next to a pipeline Table shown as Kanban by stage and a Chart of where shortlisted candidates came from. Distinct from survey-action-plan (HR with existing staff).
What goes on the desk
- Document ‘Role brief’ (widget document)
- Table ‘Pipeline’ (Candidate, Stage (single select: Screen, Interview, Panel, Offer), Source (single select), Next step, Date) with Kanban view (table views)
- Chart ‘Shortlist by source’ (widget chart)
- Custom block ‘Interview scorecard’, its layout saved as a reusable template (widget custom block)
- Contacts for the hiring manager and panel (widget contacts)
- Calendar for interviews (in beta) (widget calendar)
- Inbox for this search’s mail (connected mailbox) (widget inbox).
Set it up
design the scorecard layout once and save it; add one block per interview.
- Create a desk named for the real outcome, client or deadline.
- Add the suggested widgets and rename each one for the job it performs.
- Bring in the existing files or tables before inventing another copy of the information.
- Set a due date, add the first visible next action, then save the arrangement as a template if you will repeat it.

Use it day to day
move cards between stages; fill a scorecard straight after each interview.
A useful desk should reduce copying. Keep each changing fact in one widget, and let charts, summaries or views read from that source.
A worked starting point
Fictional example. Create the desk, add three real items that are already in motion, then use one full work cycle before changing the layout. At the end, remove anything you did not consult and add only the object that would have prevented a real interruption.
