For designers
Round two, and now the client wants it warmer.
In Plexii, the whole rebrand gets one desk.
The problem
By round two the client's feedback is in an email, the colours in a file and the photos in a folder. Checking a change against all three means opening all three.
In the video: “Round two of a coffee rebrand. Feedback's in an email, colours in a file, photos in a folder.”
How PlexiDesk handles it
In PlexiDesk, the whole rebrand gets one desk. A desk is one canvas for one piece of work, and the video tours three of its widgets:
The feedback
In the video: “The client's feedback, and what you changed.”
A Note widget keeps the client's feedback and what you changed in response, in one place you can scroll back through.
The contrast checker
In the video: “The warm orange, checked live for contrast.”
A Browser widget keeps a contrast-checker web page open on the desk, so a colour can be checked without leaving the work.
The bags
In the video: “And the bags it has to work on.”
The packaging mock-ups sit on the desk as pictures in a File or link widget, beside the swatches and the feedback.
When something else comes up
In the video: “Then an app job's due Monday. You switch desks. The rebrand waits right where you left it.”
The other job gets a desk of its own, so switching does not mean packing anything away. In the video, “Wandoo Hill rebrand” stays exactly as it was while “Sign-up flow redesign” is open. Open desks sit side by side as tabs in the open items strip, a click apart, and Resume writes a short note on where a desk stands for when you come back to it.
One desk for each job. Nothing to go digging for.
Try it

Too many tabs open? A calmer way to keep your research
Tabs pile up because each one is a reminder, a bookmark and a workspace at once. Separate those jobs and keep research with the work it belongs to.
