For IT and workspace admins

Access review week. Twelve apps, twelve user lists.

In Plexii, the access review gets one desk.

The problem

An access review means a dozen user lists, a licence spreadsheet and sign-offs scattered through email. The people who have left and the seats nobody uses are easy to miss.

In the video: “Access review week. Twelve user lists, a licence spreadsheet, and sign-offs lost in email.”

How PlexiDesk handles it

In PlexiDesk, the access review gets one desk. A desk is one canvas for one piece of work, and the video tours three of its widgets:

  1. Seats paid vs used

In the video: “Every app, seats paid for, seats actually used.”

A Table widget lists every app with the seats paid for and the seats in use.

  2. Left but still active

In the video: “Seven accounts still open for people who've left.”

A Card widget calls out the accounts still open for people who have left.

  3. The sign-off

In the video: “App owners sign off here, not by email.”

A Custom block is the sign-off form for each app. To have app owners fill it in on the desk, share the desk with them and choose Can edit; they need a PlexiDesk account and to be signed in.

When something else comes up

In the video: “Then a manager asks when their team gets the new workspace. Switch desks. The review waits where you left it.”

The other job gets a desk of its own, so switching does not mean packing anything away. In the video, “Quarterly access review” stays exactly as it was while “New workspace rollout” is open. Open desks sit side by side as tabs in the open items strip, a click apart, and Resume writes a short note on where a desk stands for when you come back to it.

The review on one desk, the rollout on another.

Try it

Every desk template lists the widgets it needs and how to set it up in PlexiDesk, or you can create a desk from scratch.
