For neurodivergent thinkers
Back to the big report. Where was I?
In Plexii, the report gets one desk.
The problem
Coming back to a long piece of work, the outline is in one app, the figures in another and the feedback in email. Before you can start, you have to work out where you were.

How PlexiDesk handles it
In PlexiDesk, the report gets one desk. A desk is one canvas for one piece of work, and the video tours three of its widgets:
Where you left off
In the video: “Where you stopped, and what's next.”
A Card widget holds the note you left yourself: where you stopped and what comes next. You write it; PlexiDesk keeps it on the desk where you will see it.
Every section
In the video: “Every section, and what's left to write.”
A Table widget shows every section and what is left to write.
The feedback
In the video: “The funder's feedback, out of the inbox.”
A Note widget keeps the funder's feedback on the desk, out of the inbox.
When something else comes up
In the video: “Then it's Friday. The week's loose ends need sorting. Switch desks. The report waits where you stopped.”
The other job gets a desk of its own, so switching does not mean packing anything away. In the video, “Year 2 grant report” stays exactly as it was while “Weekly reset” is open. Open desks sit side by side as tabs in the open items strip, a click apart, and Resume writes a short note on where a desk stands for when you come back to it.
One desk per piece of work. In sight, not in your head.
Try it
Set up the desk yourself from a template: each one lists the widgets it needs and how to set it up in PlexiDesk.
