For operations
Six days to go-live. Nothing's in one place.
In Plexii, the warehouse move gets one desk.
The problem
A warehouse move puts the stock count in a spreadsheet, the go-live plan in a document and the hold-ups in email. A call from a supplier should not cost you your place in the move.
In the video: “Six days to the warehouse move. The count's in a spreadsheet, the plan's in a doc, the hold-ups in email.”
How PlexiDesk handles it
In PlexiDesk, the warehouse move gets one desk. A desk is one canvas for one piece of work, and the video tours three of its widgets:
The stock count
In the video: “The stock count, and where every pallet's up to.”
A Table widget holds the stock count, one row per product line, with where each is up to.
The go-live plan
In the video: “The go-live plan, hour by hour.”
A Page widget sets out the go-live plan hour by hour, with to-dos.
What's holding it up
In the video: “And the hold-up: 41 products with no barcode.”
A Card widget calls out the hold-up that needs action, in an accent colour that stands out on the desk.
When something else comes up
In the video: “Then a new supplier rings. Switch desks, nothing to rebuild. The move waits where you left it.”
The other job gets a desk of its own, so switching does not mean packing anything away. In the video, “Riverside warehouse move” stays exactly as it was while “New supplier onboarding” is open. Open desks sit side by side as tabs in the open items strip, a click apart, and Resume writes a short note on where a desk stands for when you come back to it.
Two jobs, two desks. Nothing mixed up.
Try it
Set up the desk yourself from a template: each one lists the widgets it needs and how to set it up in PlexiDesk.

Project status report desk: the weekly RAG update, drawn from the schedule
A weekly status report that reads its evidence from the schedule on the same desk, so the RAG colour has visible numbers behind it and a client can watch a live view.

Project handover desk: hand over the work itself, not a document about it
Set up one desk the next person can open and act on: the state of play, every open task with an owner and a date, the people, the files, and a Resume note written from the desk.
