Your 14-day trial

Every new account gets 14 days of the Team plan's features from sign-up, with no credit card. See the days left and what happens when it ends.

Every new PlexiDesk account starts with a 14-day trial. For 14 days from the moment you sign up, you have the Team plan's features, so you can try everything PlexiDesk does before you choose a plan. You do not need a credit card, and nothing is charged when it ends.

Before you start

  • The trial starts when you create your account. There is nothing to switch on. See Create an account and sign in.
  • One trial per account. The trial belongs to your account and runs once.
  • Sign in to use it. Your trial's features apply while you are signed in.

What the trial includes

Everything in the Team plan: every Pro feature, such as body doubling, PlexiiSign, the Plexii agent and AI reply drafts, and every Team feature, such as the Organisation page, the People Map and live presence. See What each plan includes.

See how many days are left

You can see your trial in two places:

  • In the footer, at the bottom of the window, a small badge says Trial and the days left, for example Trial · 9d. Rest the pointer on it to see how many days of full access are left.
  • In Settings, on the Account tab, under your name, for example Free plan · trial, 9d left. See Account settings.

The plan shown in Settings is the plan on your account. During the trial you have the Team plan's features whichever plan it shows.

Choose a plan during your trial

  1. Click the Trial badge in the footer.
  2. The Pick a plan window opens, with a summary of Free, Pro and Team.
  3. Click See pricing to compare the plans on our website, or Stay on Free to close the window.

To upgrade, see Upgrade to Pro or Team. If you upgrade during your trial, you keep the Team plan's features until the 14 days are up, and then have the features of the plan you chose.

When the trial ends

At the end of the 14 days, your account carries on with its own plan:

  • If you have not upgraded, you are on the Free plan. The footer badge changes to Free · Upgrade.
  • If you have upgraded, you are on Pro or Team. There is no badge.

Nothing you made is deleted. Everything stays in your workspace:

  • Features outside your plan lock. Pages such as the People Map show a message that they are not on your plan, with See plans, instead of their content.
  • Your rooms stay. On the Free plan you can have up to three rooms. If you have more, they all stay, and you can make a new room once you are under three. Desks are unlimited on every plan. See Create and organise rooms.

Common questions

Do I need a credit card for the trial? No. The trial needs only your account. You are never charged unless you choose to upgrade.

Will I be charged when the trial ends? No. If you have not upgraded, your account moves to the Free plan.

Can I extend my trial? Contact us and tell us what you need.

Can I start a second trial? No. Each account has one trial, from the day it was created.

My badge says Free · Upgrade, but I have only just signed up. Check that you are signed in to the account you just created. Rest the pointer on the badge for an explanation, or contact us.

Do people I invite to my organisation get a trial too? Yes. Every new account starts its own 14-day trial when it is created.
